Croatia

Croatia is located at the crossing between the roads of central Europe and the Mediterranean. It’s a country rich in cultural monuments and unique nature which beauty will leave you breathless. Divided in ten regions it harmoniously unites continental climate in the north-west, Mediterranean along the coast and mountain-alpine climate in its mountainous parts – the perfect combination which will meet all demands.

Croatia is the country of crystal clear blue sea, enviable biological and animal richness, various folklore heritage and gastronomic offer.

Its unique cultural heritage offers even to the choosiest guests a richness of offer where they will most definitely find something for themselves. We especially have to point out the monuments under protection of UNESCO; the city of Dubrovnik, the cathedral of Šibenik, the Roman Town in Trogir, Euphrasius’ basilica in Poreč, Diocletian’s palace in Split, and the unavoidable national park “Plitvička jezera” (Plitvice lakes).

If you wish to feel the intact nature start off on a cruise across the Adriatic and get to know one of 1185 islands out of which only 50 are inhabited or surrender yourself to the charms of one of 8 national parks and 10 parks of nature such as Kornati archipelago, Brijuni archipelago, the island of Mljet and waterfalls of the Krka river.

Visit medieval fortresses and castles, go back in time when visiting castles of Trakošćan and Veliki Tabor, enjoy the traces of the Romans, the Italians and the French and visit Arena in Pula, Renaissance town of Šibenik, Baroque town – Varaždin, or take part in the traditional knights’ game – Sinjska alka.
