St German’s Church, Brijuni

St German’s church, located next to the port of Brijuni, was built in 1481 in Gothic style on the remains of a Romanesque church. It was named after a martyr from Pula from the 3rd c. A.D. St German, and it is known for its artistic richness. Painting “Dance with the Dead” from the 14th c., “Reverence of the Magi” and “Angel musicians” are only some of the frescos which decorate this little church.
